so. i don't feel like blogging but i'm obligated to. chances are that this'll be my last of the year (unless i choose to rant about new year's eve later). well i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, i know i did! thanks to everyone who helped make it special~ SSDD lately...played some real hold em, bluffed tim like a mofo (i will never let that go), won my first $1 tourney, went up $17, lost some of it tonight...exciting huh? i probably could make this post better but i don't feel like it. i am sitting in the most odd position right now...my feet are above my keyboard and i'm typing under my legs...i know this is uncomfortable but i probably won't move for a while. yeah, i'm that lazy. think i'll sleep soon or something...bye bye

slow day today. lost out pretty quickly in an online hold em tourney. david freaking got 175 out of 4227 though. that dude is insane. scared to play him now (even though i beat him last night :P). apparently my mom and brother changed our christmas plans and didn't bother to tell me or anyone else. CHUMPS. how annoying. now i have to go eat dinner at their place with my sister-in-law's family whom i've never really met...this should be oh so fun. tomorrow will be more family-filled and traditional so looking forward to that. have a great night everyone~

woohoo. stayed at home all day today. oo yeah, cyn went to taiwan today (she actually told me she was leaving, DAVID :P), hope you have fun! anyways, didn't really do much at all today. mad and i talked online today for almost NINE hours haha. insane. well, it at least started at 3 and ended before 12. crazy. i'm about to go to bed but i gotta blog something that i forgot about last night. when david, sheree and i were coming back from the galleria we somehow got to talking about power rangers. then i said "what was that...." and started to think...and then david blurts out "VR Troopers?" and i was like "WHOA! that's exactly what i was thinking!!!!" it was crazy. i didn't even say anything and he knew what i was talking about. see that's the taboo skillz right there. next time david plays with us guys we will dominate like crazy.

gosh my throat's been tender for the past two days. i think it's because i've been going out too much and going to bed too late. blah. hope i don't get sick, especially now. i reaaaally think i should just stay at home all day today...but i doubt that'll happen. oh well.
how have i been so busy you ask? saturday was hectic as bea and i ran around getting everything ready for the potluck. man that was such a fun party! was great seeing (almost) everyone again. it's funny how people won't abide by the laws of the mistletoe...perhaps pink shoes will make them respect my authoritah?
sunday was once again more out-age. went to the christmas service at fbcc in the morning. the guest speaker was pretty cool/hip (dunno about jackie chan look alike though). good message. after that i eventually found myself at melody's for the texans game. freaking...i KNEW we scored too early...gave the titans too much time. bah. oh well, at least we know we're capable of beating them. and we almost beat the colts last time so hopefully next week...
so after the game maria, bea, rob, sam, melody, andy, angela, jennifer, cynthia and i played a rousing game of taboo. and just like the last time i played...i was the final person to go and the game depended on me. however, we were down by 12 this time haha. rob gave me twice the alotted time but we still fell short (by one again? don't remember). fun stuff though. we sat around and talked for a while, then our committee did some planning for the rest of the break. it eventually got to be 8:30 so bea, angela, sam and i went to quizno's...but it was closed AGAIN (man i'm about to boycott that stupid place). so we went to sweet mesquite where i paid too much money for an unsettling meal. blah. after that i finally got home for the day.
yesterday i thought i'd finish my shopping in about an hour and possibly go play hold em at richard's but that didn't work out. picked up bea and we ran some errands before going to first colony mall where the shopping took forever..ghsdklghsdl. didn't get home till about 6:30. then david and i decided that we needed to go to the galleria that night and dragged sheree along with us. worth the trip? maybe...at least there were lots of "hot asian chicks with short ugly boyfriends pushing a stroller." don't get the cheesecake ice cream at marble slab guys...it's like eating butter.
oo i forgot to mention that i saw divya at the mall yesterday! haven't seen that girl since like...graduation. kooky. was good seeing her again though. i gotta stop writing long posts...scares people off. i also need to start watching football more...missing too many games (including the last MNF game of the season) and i'm not into the playoff race. yet that is. i feel the need to add some sort of concluding paragraph to this post...but screw that.

just got back about 30 minutes minutes ago. balled at CME with mok (thx for the ride dude). man that guy is so fun to watch...one day i'll be as good as him. heh right. there are some stupidly annoying people at CME...those of you who ball there prob know the guy i'm talking about. just glad he finally left. i played smart and didn't try to touch the ball haha...i did however make the game-winning basket (bs luck shot though). what to do tonight? probably nothing...but i'd like to do something if anyone else does. just drop me a msg

so yesterday was fun. was gonna go visit my old chinese class in the morning but didn't have a car at the time. i did get to hang out with brandy in the afternoon though! thanks :) hope you did well in your drivetime hehe. after dinner bea picked me up and we met eric at abc where we realized that none of us wanted to get anything. had a nice convo with eric in chinese though. walked to welfarm and bought some 'hua sheng jiang' (right eric?) for mr. ronnenkamp. then bea and i visited kamna at her new house (very snazzy). i think her dog wanted to kiss me. so we talked for a bit and i got home around 10. then about five minutes later i get a call from maria, so i went to her house. she, sheree, melody, alan, alex and i played taboo till about 12:30 or 1. MAN i can't believe the guys lost by one single point at the VERY END. gazebo guys!! GAZEBO. alex and i combined have some 1337 parking skillz though. i parked behind sheree and left about 1 inch of space haha...jeez. if she hadn't parked at the end of the driveway then that wouldn't have been a problem! :P
today has sucked so far though. went to ronnenkamp's, saw some people (some i was quite glad to see again), shook his hand, that was about it. eric was like "okay he doesn't remember us, let's go." so we did. and that's been my day so far. quite boring and lonely. odd, but maybe i'm getting used to socializing again...a little too much. next semester is gonna suck like none other..*sigh* well i might go out in a bit. stay cool ppl, enjoy the break!

yeah it's pretty late now. but i'm hungry so i'm eating some lucky charms, might as well blog at the same time. so i just saw RotK...meh. wasn't that great. i still think the first was the best (just like matrix). with the third one it was just more of the same...i mean cmon, i've already seen huge battle scenes, gimme something else if you're gonna make the movie 3.5 hours long...i also think they should've done more with gimli and legolas. the makers should know how big legolas is, yet they barely put him on camera and only gave him one cool action move. on top of that, many of the scenes just felt so cheesy, and that just doesn't fit for a movie of supposedly high caliber. i also noticed two things during this movie: 1) hobbits make the weirdest/funniest faces and 2) frodo and sam almost have sex with each other about 2357289572 times. so yeah, if you waited till wednesday or some other day to watch it, you're smart. i still recommend that people see it to finish off the trilogy, but don't expect it to live up to all the hype. i'm off to bed now, nite ppl

SOOOOO. i finally registered for classes today...hahah. yeah i was supposed to do it a month and a half ago...don't ask me why i waited so long. i really have no idea why. so seriously, if you ask, i'll ignore you :P my schedule isn't too bad considering how long i waited. some problems with TTH cuz my mom needs to leave work at 5...so yeah. if anyone wants to take me to school on those days i'd be very happy ^_^ here's the schedule:

man i am REALLY looking forward to those orgo and chemical processes classes. they sound ueber-fun. took my physics final today, now i'm done! studying wasn't too fun though. actually i was planning on studying for 12 chapters (which would've SUCKED like none other)...but i read the syllabus and found out that the final wasn't cumlative...only over the last 3 chapters which we hadn't tested over yet (the last chapter only had one question in fact, and it was a bonus! easy 10 points right there). of course since we hadn't tested over those chapters i had to learn all of the material last night...but i managed. another A for yours truly, the temporary cougar.
man this weekend was pretty fun. saturday was bey's birthday so eric and i went over to her place to celebrate. we picked up taco bell for dinner (haha...birthday girl's choice, man) and then started to watch kurosawa's the seven samurai...i stayed awake the whole time, but the other two kept dozing off (no lights on didn't help the issue). even coffee didn't help them hehe. or sugar-loaded cake. but dude...that movie is so freaking long. i thought i had heard that one/some of his movies were long...but i couldn't remember. well, two hours into the movie a screen comes up that says "INTERMISSION." we were like "...wtcrap........." we only watched an hour more before we decided to go drive around and look at christmas lights (and nice houses). haha we're so dumb though...drove around with the top down when it was so cold. people gave us weird looks. thankfully people still leave their lights on at midnight so it was worth it. we stopped on brandy's street and looked up at the stars...haha and then a sweetwater cop pulled up next to us and asked if anything was wrong. we said we were just looking up and he said okay and kinda laughed hehe. luckily he wasn't a butthole like the fake cop that harassed eric a while back. anyways, fun fun times. glad you didn't get the flu eric. the next day i went to focus again. i really enjoyed it too. right afterwards i drove to UH and saw madelyn's performance of the nutcracker again! great job once again :) better send me that pic!
hmm, well i'm gonna go see LotR: RotK tonight. gotta leave before 11...but i still need to shower and get ready. so i better stop blogging now. man can't believe i'm gonna be up for 6 more hours o_O haha. okay bye ppl, stay cool

so. how ya been? good good. me? can't complain. did a lot better on my cal final than i thought i would. i studied the night before till about 2AM. i went to bed even though i wasn't done studying. planned on waking up early to finish, but i ended up sleeping too late to really get much done. when i realized that i only had an hour to get dressed and drive to UH before my exam started i began to panic...not only that but i hadn't studied nearly as much as i could or should have. so as i ran out the door i realized that i didn't even know where my exam was going to be...so in the car i called my professor's office and asked where it'd be...and he replied (in a thick asian accent) "uhh, any room on campus would be fine." yeah, that confused me too...so i said "really? any room to take the final...?" and he said "i'm just kidding." hahaha. oh man, i love that guy. he seems so kind and he is a funny guy. man i'm glad he joked around with me too, cuz that totally relaxed me. i was so wound up before that too. amazing. anyways, he told me that it'd be in the same room that we'd had all of our lectures and exams in before...so yeah i felt kinda dumb :P did pretty well though. A for me? yeah i think so. thankfully i've gotten to just bum since then (not MAD BUMMING yet though ^_^ ). spent the night at my brother's on wednesday. that was kinda fun until the next day when i wanted to shower but had to wait to get home at 5PM. ugh. but angela got to hear my cute nephew try to get my attention when i had been talking to her for too long hehe. oh for those of you who haven't checked out the new town center yet, i recommend walking around. it's pretty cool lookin. went with bey and eric last night. cafe express had decent food, bad prices. the marriot was fun to walk around, but they had bad security :P we even found a room on the top floor that was open but we didn't go inside...shucks. didn't get to go on the roof either cuz i heard people on the other side of the door. oh man get this. every year i decorate our christmas tree with our family. we were gonna do it last night but my mom was too tired when she got home. so tonight i went downstairs to leave and go chill with lesa...but i found my mom standing next to the half-decorated tree. wtcrap is that?!?! my mom never even gave me a good reason why she didn't tell me or anything. what a load of crap. so i finished putting on my ornaments after that. sorry that i couldn't go out lesa :\ soon though!! oh and tomorrow will be a lot of fun!! but you can read about that later my faithfuls.

am i the only one who is not affected by commercial advertisements on tv? i mean...many times i remember a commercial for its punchline and whatnot...but i have no idea what it's advertising. such distractions kinda defeat the purpose of a commercial, no? yes, that is my insight on the world for today. figured that i need to blog about more than my day. and thanks for keepin my tagboard so busy guys, 'preciate it ^_^ stay cool

sooooooooo. how was your day? mine had its ups and downs. woke up, drove to UH, met up with eric in the annex, studied for a bit, then went and took my chem final. 40 questions, 140 minutes, i finished about 45 minutes early. decided to go back over the whole test. i may not have gotten a 100 but i'm sure i got an A. on the way out i got stopped by a guy who asked me to take a short survey, so i thought "what the heck might as well." turns out this guy was a pastor at UH and we ended up talking about christianity for about 30 minutes. was pretty interesting. if i ever get involved in fellowship at UH i know where to go now. oh and i FINALLY got a new cell phone (same model), no more old one that turns off all the time. still want to get a flip phone though. more space efficient and you can't scratch the screen. anyways, after that my parents and i bought our christmas tree. it's not the best tree, but it's bushy and has that great tree smell. when we got back though...a lady came by to see the two puppies...after she showed interest i realized how much i had gotten attached to them and didn't want to see them go. i didn't want to do that to their mother either :\ but the lady came back at night with her daughter and they took both of the puppies :\ i didn't say goodbye to them cuz that'd just be too sad. oh well, the lady was big on animals and she'll take good care of them. if you wanna see pics of them, click that little hard-to-see link between the title and these posts. so that's pretty much my day...aren't you glad you heard about it? hehe. alright guess i'll go...do something. probably eat. stay cool people

holy guacamole. just got back from watching The Last Samurai with bea...man that movie is darn good. it'll probably kill in the box office this weekend. but yeah, i'd say it's definitely worth seeing. really makes you appreciate the honor these people have...ah i can't even describe it really. just go see it! and don't hold back your tears when the cherry blossoms come...*sniffle*
hehe. so before we went to the movies we went to fbcc for their 7*9 chill fest thing. had a local live punk band playing. loud music makes it hard for you to do anything besides listen to them, but they weren't bad. feels good to hear live music again. after that was random chilling and board game playing. played a few rounds of taboo, still gots it yo. and then TROUBLE which is like one of the coolest games for ages 5 and up. i still say i should've won...darn that connie. good times though. pretty tired now, better head to bed. not sure if i'm going to focus tomorrow but we'll see in a few hours eh? time to go dream about me being a samurai! hehe. nite

so before the break ended i got to hang out with part of MHP (boyer david eric). then i went back to david's later and chilled with the old gang (sheree hen maria raymond and david of course). watched punch drunk love...man that's a good movie. so weird but so funny. i wanna smash your face in with a sledgehammer it's so pretty....hahah. aaaaaaaanyways, oo i went to fbcc youth service on sunday. my first time, and i gotta say it was pretty cool. i liked john's sermon and i think it'll be interesting to possibly go more as i find myself spiritually. i've had a much better week than all of the college people, that's for sure. got back a B on my physics exam...first one all year. screwed up my cal exam too, bah. but now i don't have anything except 3 exams to study for. yay.
it may not sound like i've been too busy to post and stuff but i feel like i have been. haven't had time to just sit down with only myself in over a week. i just want to sit back, relax, and think. don't exactly have time for that juuuuust yet though.
