okay sorry it's been a while. i've actually been adding stuff in here to blog about but obviously i didn't publish those. guess i'll just start

might as well start with the biggest news. I QUIT MY JOB! whoo. actually my dad knew i didnt' like the job and offered to take my hours haha. so we walked in that day (got my second and final paycheck) and switched him for me. so i am now freeeeeee :D so since it was friday i wanted to celebrate my new found freedom, though that's kinda hard to do around here now. but luckily annie IMed me and informed me that she was in town! so we went to it's a grind (hadn't been since bea's last day of work) and caught up. sat in her car and talked for a bit too. been too long! then saturday morning i went to austin. haha. yeah i went with my dad to visit my grandma and uncles. i wasn't sure if i'd enjoy it (the schneiders are a cultured family, but that can be a bit dry at times) but i really did. it was good to see them after so long. so i drove home and got back around 5. ate dinner then went to game night at fbcc (sorry for being an hour late :X). man i'm reaaaally starting to love that place :D gonna suck to leave later this year :\ so we sat around and chatted for a while after that. then i picked up angela, jennifer, melody and alex chan and we went to star snow ice. i loooove their passion fruit smoothie. fits my personality hehe. we got back at about 12ish i think? jennifer was hyper and it was kind of contagious...so we started doing random things haha. like...racing down the street and back. i'm faster than a tennis player :P here's a tip: sliding across the hood of my car DOESN'T work....but human spoilers do! hehe. so after much talking (which was nice, i love those guys!) i went home. i was past my curfew AGAIN (man something about hanging with the hsus...) but no one seemed to notice or care. sunday was focus of course. we had a guest speaker, casey cease. i'm sure a lot of you remember him from driver's ed at least. he's the ex-ranger who killed his friend in a car accident. i've heard his story many times before, but never the religious aspect. it was pretty moving. later that day i went to go pick up my 3 male doggies from the humane society cuz we got them neutered :X my poor babies...but they're doing well already. haven't lost any spring in their steps. poor dudley though...he kept trying to lick his incision...so we put a cone on him haha. yeah but it wasn't big enough and he got to it somehow...so we had to put some ointment on him. and before that we put....other stuff. hmm what happened this week...oh i signed up for intramural badminton doubles with vineet haha. i've still played less than 10 times in my life but he's a good teacher and i'm a fast learner. we've agreed that we're either gonna win it all or get knocked out in the first round. go team 1337 Like Whoa!

tonight i went and saw The Passion of The Christ with some guys in my CBS group. maaaaaaaan that movie is amazing. well not so much the movie itself but the story of Jesus Christ. it's still a movie worth seeing though. and yes...it's as gory as everyone says. amazingly so...it was pretty gruesome but i forced myself to watch it. really hits you and brings you back to reality. i'm in awe
but yeah speaking of my CBS group, i feel really comfortable there now. at first i was a bit scared because they all knew each other pretty well but i didn't really know any of them. but they've welcomed me and we have a great fellowship going. hope it continues to grow!

so. random stuff now. i went to the sprint store (which is always understaffed) with my mom a week or so ago. i'm pretty sure i wanna get a new phone now. i think. well, i did at the time. now i don't know if i care anymore. it'd be no fun if i have to pay to d/l things (ring tones and games)...so yeah. oh oh, i'm going to the switchfoot concert in austin on 4/2!!! yeah angela invited me to go with her :) but i'm pretty sure she only did so because jennifer needed a ride up there haha. oh well, i don't mind :) yay my first concert!

so for those of you who don't know...i'm going to austin :D (friday, be there around 5 hopefully) man i can't wait. soooo stoked. if you're up there call me and we'll cheeeel. try and reserve a time so i have an idea of what to do :P let's see...friday at 7 i'm going to CBS, saturday lunch = picnic, saturday night is the CBS talent show, and sunday morning is church at ACC. so yeah just call me up anytime except <---those and we'll have some fun. go longhorns!

hey does anyone remember how i promised a special surprise? well to be honest, the idea sorta disappeared for a while (though it was never going to austin, sorry bey :P). well, i made a promise and i'm going to keep it! hopefully it will be revealed by tomorrow if i have the time. so exciting ^_^ stay cool people

i am so fatigued right now, i have very little cognition. why am i even blogging now? anyways, nothing new going on. worked on valentine's day, that sucked. no, not because i care about valentine's day, but because it was my niece's birthday and my family had dinner in the private room at P.F. Chang's...while i worked. at least i snuck away for a few minutes and ate some of that chocolate wall (cake). i dunno what you're talking about cyn, it was pretty darn good. then...lots of school. and little sleep. haven't even played my drums in over a week. i got 4 hours of sleep last night (~2-6) cuz i talked on AIM and the phone too much when i should've been finishing my engilsh essay. add some badminton today and i am very very tired. have my orgo exam tomorrow night at 7...but after that i won't be so busy, i promise people. i know you all missed me as much as i missed YOU :D

muahaha, i am conscientious. kinda weird to be talked about in an email like that. anyways, long day. once again i didn't get enough sleep, which caught up with me during orgo (5:30-7)...kept nodding off for the first half of class. had to go back and recopy my notes because, well, they were just scribbles. had CBS tonight (for real, not like tuesday where i went only to find out that the day had been moved >.< i really should check my email more often), i'm really enjoying these meetings. thought about going out tonight but sleep beckons. oh well. think i'll go watch some FLCL or HxH (thanks bro_master)

i have work tomorrow. i don't like having a job. why do i do it.

my bad people. getting used to my new schedule so it's been hard to get into blogging mode. i was about to go to sleep but i remembered that i promised you all that i'd update. so here am i. and where have i been the past two weeks you ask?

school - haven't gotten much hw yet but it's starting to pick up. classes are pretty interesting now. i'm actually starting to understand what's going on in my differential equations class. history is probably my most entertaining class, surprisingly. the professor is a really cool guy who makes everything we learn interesting. also been hanging out in the gameroom a lot now. so glad that i'm starting to meet more people now. oh i also just formed a smallgroup with some fellow cougars. we've had one meeting so far and they seem like a great bunch of guys, looking forward to our meetings. so yeah, overall UH isn't too bad anymore. but i'm still definitely UT bound baby.

work - yeah in my last post i mentioned that i was starting work soon. well now that i've worked for 2 weeks i can really comment on it. lemme tell ya, dishwashing is a LOT harder than it sounds (and than i had originally thought). usually i take the clean dishes off of our racks or shelves and put them back where they belong in the kitchen. i also do "line pickups" where i go down the "line" (the cooking area basically, it looks like a long buffet line with chefs on it) and pick up 4-5 buckets full of dirty plates and such and bring them back to the dishwashing area. man it is quite tiring. there is literally no time to rest (though i do sneak off to the bathroom a few times during the night just to sit down somewhere). oh and you know how i said i'd work till 11? HAH. on the weekends we close at 12 (otherwise it's 11), but that only means that we stop letting people IN at that time. if you care about me at all you will never eat at P.F. Chang's past 10:30. it's so annoying when it's past 12:30 and we still have people eating >:O on the weekends i don't get home till about 1:30 or 2. gah. dishwashers stay later than anyone because we have to make sure everything is washed and put up. *sigh* but it's a job. i like my coworkers mostly. few cool dishwashers and waiters. i don't like chefs though. haha. a couple are cool, but most of them just make my job harder >.< act like they're the most important people in the world. oh well, i do like working with my brother though. it's nice to have him around. so i think i'll keep my job for now. i had thought about quitting after a few days, but i got them to cut my hours. now i only work fri sat sun but i'll probably end up being unhappy with that after a while. eh we'll see how it goes.

so that's basically what's been taking up my time lately. oh, and i made a trip to south park. here's a pic of my trip.

yesterday was a very fun day. in the morning i went to church (had skipped the week before >.<) and heard a sermon from john that i think is really important for a lot of the people in our area. he talked about "being a compass to point towards Christ" for those who may not exactly think Christianity is for them. it's sad how so many people don't 'point' directly towards Christ (myself included). it's no surprise that so many people have a bad view of Christianity and associate hypocrisy with it. anyways, after service i drove to kingwood. haha. didn't take that long either...only about 50 minutes there and 40 minutes back. anyways, i went there because that is where my good friend jordan lives. of course up until yesterday we had never actually met...but yeah haha. he's definitely a cool guy. too bad he lives so far away (though his subdivision is also called woodstream o_O weird). but i'm not some weirdo loser who has to make friends online...i actually went there to buy some drums! his old set. dang he gave me such a good deal too! thanks bud. and yeah, for those of you who haven't realized, jordan's the drummer in the band whose song i posted up here. got home at about 6:15 and somewhat set up the drums (though they weren't really playable until tonight). then i picked up ling and we got some quizno's for dinner. man seems like everytime i go there the employee has trouble making the sandwiches. came back to my place, ate and watched chinpokomon haha, and then watched the ring o_O. haha ling was more scared than i was...and she'd seen it before. overall i thought the movie wasn't that great. didn't make much sense at all. and i'm assuming it's not that scary when it's not hyped up by someone :P fun time though. and today was nothing special really, except that i got to jam for the first time. i didn't think it'd be THIS fun. i thought the loud volume of the drums might turn me off...but i think it just fuels my desire to play more. such a great feeling to produce that music. is it like that for everyone who plays an instrument they love? i'm assuming so, but i don't know for sure since i've never played one before (besides messing around on our piano). anyways, here's a pic!
