well since i've gotten such a great response from the public recently, i figured i'd repay you all by not waiting 2 weeks to update! not only that, but this is my 100th post! well i've had a blog before...but i'm just talking about this stint. don't misunderstand though...i have nothing special planned. i just thought it was cool how blogger tells you how many posts you have now.

man i can already tell that i'm gonna be so busy this summer o_O i celebrated "Angela Day" yesterday cause it was her first day back. first angela, jenn and i baked some yummy chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies and talked. we were just gonna hang out until angela had to go to dinner, but those plans fell through. angela and i watched love actually, and man it was good! i like movies that have lots of separate yet somehow intertwining storylines. we went to quizno's for dinner after that...the one on highway 6 of course. bea called me and said that ppl were meeting up at barnes at 9 so angela and i decided to go to that. met up with jenn, ben, sam, raymond, richard, david z, sneha, meeta, diana, jessica, joey and kamna. *phew i think that's all...sorry if i missed anyone. yeah for some reason bea invited me but couldn't come :P we talked for a while until ppl decided to leave, and angela said she wanted to watch another movie. haha my mom said "what?? again?!" when i asked her if i could stay out and watch another one. we finally rented bruce almighty! which is a pretty good movie, i suggest you see it. just don't start watching it at 1 cause you won't get home till 3...darn that Hsu Effect. haha even if we spend 12 hours together i get home late :P so fun though! "good times, good times"

went to CHS today to ball. apparently we can play in the girl's gym and no one seems to care...sort of an early open gym i guess? 'twas good to see yubo and bey again :) next time we should get more ppl though, but i don't think that'll be hard.

i'd like to take this time to salute my friend richard wang. we've been buddies for a few years now and i've always enjoyed his company. that dude is just so fun to hang around. and man, HIS LAUGH...sooo contagious, he makes everything funnier. richard old buddy, i really respect the decision you've made. sorry to see you leave though. keep in touch with us, alright? good luck in the future! well, in the present too :)

man i've been watching a lot of pool on ESPN lately, and all i gotta say is...dang...jeanette lee...me want. err, the poster that is...she's so freaking skillful. makes me wanna play again but our pool table is being stored in the garage right now. hey look, she sorta has a blog too!

HAH SUCKERS! i'm already done with school! seriously though, if you're still diggin in the books, good luck with any finals or anything you have left. you can get through it! my exams weren't as stressful as i had thought they'd be. i think God really gave me peace to study and stay focused on stuff, so they all went pretty well. now all i have to do is try not to worry too much about my UT app. once all of my grades are posted my final transcript will get sent to UT and they'll make their decision on me. so intense!

oh yeah, did i forget to mention a little thing called prom? hehe. well i gotta say it was one heck of a party. i had a great time hanging out with the people who've made me feel at home this semester even with most of my friends gone (ignore the fact that i actually do live at home...you know what i mean). and mich, thanks for being a great date :) and for not ordering one thing from each section on the menu haha :P

here are a few of my fav pics from the evening...you can go to the blog of pretty much anyone who went and they'll have the same pics...so just go look elsewhere if this isn't enough :P

at FBCC we're having this Sports for Charity basketball tournament and my small group entered as a team. most of them have played together at UH, but the first time i saw them all together was saturday morning for our first game. dude we are awesome as a team, i love playing with those guys. i unfortunately had to start because dan got there a bit late...but once i hit my first shot i felt good and everything else flowed. we started strong at stayed pretty consistent, so we beat the English team 79-46. big props to steven stojakovic...err wang for lighthing it up like crazy from outside. and of course i must salute or leading scorer, dehorne, who pounded it in the paint for 24 points and really "abused" the other team haha. i was fairly happy with my performance...missed 2 easy lay-ups (gah need to relax more on those) but scored 8 points, at least 5 assists, and probably as many steals too. yeah i'm a stats addict as some of you know...but i'm gonna try not to focus on those. it's not even about W's and L's really as long as we have great fellowship together. anyways, GG college team, let's keep it up

OH MAN i almost forgot to mention...i met THE CUTEST little girl ever. after eating lunch at BK with dehorne and joe we went back to the church to ref/manage scoreboard and stats for the third game. well when i started doing the stats for the second half i went up on stage with joe and there was a little girl named tiffany, probably about 6 years old, playing with her friend around there. she started talking to me and decided to call me twerp, but after she asked my real name she wanted to write it :) and then she started telling joe (aka "dude" to her) that i was nicer than him haha. usually i'm not too big on kids (neither is joe) but she was just too adorable. she also asked me if i was chinese haha. i asked her if she thought i was and she said yeah. i was sad to leave...but she said "bye jon-erik!!" about 5 times before i got out the door. now i see why you love kids so much angela :) hehe

man, looks like sara fell under my spell by merely talking to me over the internet a few times. i gotta tell ya something though sara, usually when i talk to someone online for 4 hours straight in the beginning of a friendship, it turns out pretty well hehe. so prepare yourself for a caucasian invasion (can't believe i said that)

ladyroo786 (1:52:32 AM): seriously dude!
ladyroo786 (1:52:39 AM): everytime i hear "i walk alone" i think of you
ladyroo786 (1:52:48 AM): it's subconscious now too
ladyroo786 (1:53:17 AM): like it came on earlier, and i was studying, and suddenly i thought of you, and i was like, "how did i suddenly think of je?"
ladyroo786 (1:53:23 AM): then i realized the song was on
ladyroo786 (1:53:29 AM): it's quite freaky
ladyroo786 (1:53:32 AM): get outta my head

sheree was telling me about the appeal of musicians...well how they appeal to her at least

skuld187 (10:13:35 PM): you dont play the guitar
skuld187 (10:13:38 PM): so you're still safe
superj LIKE WHOA (10:15:43 PM): haha
superj LIKE WHOA (10:15:58 PM): i play the drums...does that count?
skuld187 (10:16:05 PM): hahaha actually hey that's pretty good
skuld187 (10:16:09 PM): i'd settle for a drummer
superj LIKE WHOA (10:16:13 PM): haha
superj LIKE WHOA (10:16:17 PM): what do you mean SETTLE
skuld187 (10:16:21 PM): hahahaha

okay guys, time to hear what the public thinks. would you find a guitarist or a drummer more appealing? hit me up with your thoughts

i'm kinda bored now so i guess i'll update. i could be studying for my final on monday but eh...that can wait. actually i won't have that much time this weekend so maybe i should start...well anyways, prom is tomorrow :-O it hasn't totally hit me though (other than in my wallet :P). when i got my tux on wednesday there was a couple picking up the guy's tux and the girl asked him if he made the reservations yet...talk about procrastinating.
last friday i watched jenn eat a bucket o' corn at boston market, then we met up with kathy at cyn's house to watch kill bill. i wasn't as impressed as i thought i might be. the plot didn't strike me as very intriguing, and i don't even know if i liked the action that much...must've been too distracted with other things *cough*cyn*cough* hehe j/k. stayed there talking to cyn and jenn till about 3 (must've been the Hsu Effect) but luckily my parents didn't seem to notice. gah...i'm gonna miss those girls so much after this year :( i love you "guys"!!!!
oh man, saturday night i was talkin to sara online...and we have such similar tastes in music, it's quite refreshing ^_^ i gave her some old 90s favorites that i had just rediscovered and she got me back into Disturbed. here are some recommendations (* denotes a favorite):
Collective Soul - Shine
Cranberries - Zombie
*Better Than Ezra - Good
*Oleander - Walk Alone
Disturbed - Conflict, Down with the Sickness, *Fear, Prayer, *Stupify, Voices
Digital Underground - Humpty Dance
Rx Bandits - Decrescendo
Copeland - Brightest

oh btw you guys should check out the media fix for reviews and stuff. my man jordan apparently writes for them or something :P something else i found useful (from dictionary.com):
Till and until are generally interchangeable in both writing and speech, though as the first word in a sentence until is usually preferred. Till is actually the older word, with until having been formed by the addition to it of the prefix un-, meaning "up to." In the 18th century the spelling 'till became fashionable, as if till were a shortened form of until. Although 'till is now nonstandard, 'til is sometimes used in this way and is considered acceptable, though it is etymologically incorrect.

hmm, i never really knew that. good to know. okay time to rest up for a big day tomorrow. later ppl
