hey guess what guys! richard called today! well not me, his family. jenn told me that's he's doing well, adjusting to the schedule i think. they haven't started the basic training yet though. i hope jenn doesn't mind me posting about this hehe
so today was my first day of "work." curtis and i walked around missouri city neighborhoods and knocked on doors to get business. normally i hate that sort of stuff but i prayed for courage and, wow, i felt brave enough to solicit :-O God is an awesome source of strength. PTL
wow, i'm actually posting relatively often now. maybe it's to spite you people who deleted your blogs >:O you know who you are...*see broken links on the side*

stan: there's the girl that i like
now more than ever, she gives me butterflies
she makes my stomach queasy everytime she walks by
i know i can be cool if i try
wendy: hi stan!
stan: BLAGH
Sentrosi (1:43:30 PM): 1337?
how do people still not know what 1337 means??? even my parents know o_O
i need to stop going to bed/waking up so late...watched this japanese (scary?) movie called "tomie" at the hsu house last night (which wasn't very good) and i didn't get home till 3:30...woke up at 12:30 >.< the sad thing is that i always set my alarm for 11 and let it go off every 9 minutes after that for at least an hour. as of today, i sleep by midnight.
New Found Glory - Catalyst proved to be a good purchase (that's right, i paid money for it :-O i'm a hardcore fan). if you like any of their stuff, you should pick up this album
i'm about 30 hours into FFX already...haven't gotten through an RPG so quickly since Lunar:SSSC. funny how such behavior was normal 4 or so years ago but now it makes me feel like a nerd :P guess i just gotta find that balance between cool guy j-e and gamer j-e. if there is one that is.
i don't feel like typing in here anymore so i'm gonna go get lunch (which has been scheduled at about 2-3PM all week because of my sleeping habits *sigh*). stay cool people

Jenn in her lovely summer apartment
Jenn and I
Cyn and I (with no glasses...had to get rid of the glare from the flash)
"candid" shot of Cyn talking on the way home

hmm...why is it that during summer, a time when i have the least to do, i suddenly find myself with many things to ponder. perhaps i should set aside more time to weigh through them instead of wasting away on this thing...

so i'm not quite sure where i stand with my blog right now...summer is just too busy to blog everything i do (for me at least). i'm thinking i might blog every once in a while...but don't expect too much. who knows, maybe less pressure to update will help me *shrug* time to go watch the stanley cup presentation (which in my eyes is the best presentation in sports). go lightning!
