man i watched roddick play today in the RCA semis...it's best of 3 sets (instead of 5) and he lost the first 1-6. second set went to a tiebreak and he survived three match points and won the tiebreak. third set went into a tiebreak as well but he won once again. yeesh. anyways, pumped me up for some tennis. if anyone ever wants to play, i'm always down for some tennis.

wow okay all of that stuff has been sitting in blogger for 11 days...oops. anyways, sorry i've been gone for so long people. feels like i didn't have time for much of anything the last 2+ weeks. work was crazy! the last house i worked on just would not die. i decided that i would quit after we finished it...but that took another week >.< it was awesome workin with ya though chuk. there's no one i'd rather pick up a paintbrush with. glad to be free now though :D
 
VBS! wow what an experience. for those that don't know, VBS = vacation bible school. it's basically a week long camp for elementary kids (about 3 hours a day). it was so much fun!! the kids were so adorable and we had a lot of fun playing with them. it was great working with so many of my buddies too! and making new ones. of course the best part was teaching the children about God. hopefully those kids will remember that week for a long time.
 
well i just saw I, Robot with angela, melody wang and her brother. it was surprisingly good! i was pretty entertained. but if you're not totally focused on the movie it may be hard to follow :P i recommend you go watch it. anyways, gotta get up "early" tomorrow :) so i'll be going now. wow, it actually felt kinda good to blog again. stay cool people

don't you hate it when you feel so overwhelmed but helpless to do anything about it? *breathes* but then i come down to earth and realize how lucky i really am. things may not be perfect and might not go the way i want them to, but i'm incredibly blessed. tonight i got into a bit of a stubborn argument with my mom, but i remembered the lesson on conflict from tuesday's college fellowship and reconciled with her right away. as weird as it felt to "talk about my feelings" with my mom, it felt surprisingly refreshing. if you're feeling adventurous, i hope you do the same hehe

anyhoo, work is quite tiring. i really must get more than 4 hours of sleep if i'm gonna work for 11 hours that day. speaking of which...another early start tomorrow. the rain that i was praising early in the week has come to bite me in the butt. maybe i'll be back here tomorrow, we'll see. stay cool people
