today was quite interesting. i realized how much i miss my old guy friendships. there's something so comforting about hanging with your boys. no boundaries to worry about, no images to protect :P it's just not as...taxing. in fact it's quite the opposite, very relaxing (didn't mean to rhyme, it's just natural :P). anyways, i love my college small group, but there's nothing like worshipping with the guys you grew up with, the guys who brought you to church. makes me more aware of how much i miss you UT people (good luck on your finals, i'll be praying for yall). oh and i got to see richard today!! plus he's coming home for TWO WEEKS in december! can't wait :D well i hope everyone had a great thanksgiving break. thank YOU for being a part of my life, and i love you people for that :)

happy one year anniversary, blog. well, for it's all relative part 2 anyways. i guess it was technically yesterday but 11/23 was my first real post. i wonder how much i've changed since then...

(11/23/03) so after we finished we went to the food & film festival at fbcc, which was pretty fun! our 10-second food sculpture owned! and our live action recreation too hehe. the people there are so nice too. i can talk to some person i've never met before and they'll be quite friendly.

obviously the biggest change in my life since then has been walking with God. boy has that changed my life completely. crazy to think where i'd be if i had made a few different choices in the past. couldn't be happier now though. i won't go too much in detail just yet, saving that for later this week. thanks to all of my loyal readers who've been here from the beginning and to those who're a bit newer :) couldn't...err wouldn't have done it without ya. stay cool people

friday - drove to UT with a sleepy chukwuma. funny how the drive up always seems a lot shorter. got to chill with david and boyer for a few hours, just like old times. then i had dinner with angela at the union (DTR didn't go so well :( hahah). after that it was off to AACM where i got to see most of the people i know at UT hehe. man i missed you guys. after chilling at pho a bunch of us went to lina's room and watched "Ghost." got to meet a lot of people that night...in fact i've met more ppl at UT than i have at UH haha.

saturday - roamed the UT campus around noon looking for ppl to eat lunch with (since david was with his parents for a few hours) but found no one o_O luckily boyer was awesome and picked me up so we could chill at his apartment. good to see that dude again. went to jester to borrow mok and xiao's clothes after that...thanks guys haha (silly me left my dress clothes in SL). ate dinner at pho with tina and david (who needs the finer things in life? :P hehe j/k) before going to see Jesus Christ Superstar with big D. i reaaaaally enjoyed the live performance, and i liked the more modern twist they put on it. sounded better than the original too. walked with melody wang (way to walk off that football injury! hehe) to hoedown after that...and it was surprisingly fun! thanks to bey, juice and tina for helping out a n00b ^_^ chilled in tina's dorm for about an hour (thanks for the HUGE milky way that took me forever to eat :P haha) before heading to SLOSH (is that an acronym? *shrug* it gets capital letters anyways). man i had to learn even more dance steps...too bad i can't exactly get the hang of swing yet. finally crashed at 4 in mok and peter's dorm (thanks guys!). sorry about the whole alarm clock thing in the morning haha

sunday - i actually woke up for liquid this time!! thanks david for going out of your way to let me in and stuff hehe. liquid was pretty cool, i actually enjoyed gideon's message. i was afraid i wouldn't be willing to listen to God through anyone away from FBCC :X but no worries anymore. finally saw kinsolving after that...gotta love those buffets! had to say bye to everyone after that :\ the rest of the day wasn't very fun so i won't really type about it...although i will mention that we left 2 hours later than i had originally planned...AND when i got outside of austin i realized that i had left my wallet at david's so i had to go back and get it...thus i was driving for about 4.5 hours last night (in the dark o_O). that wasn't cool.

anyways, all in all, it was a very fun trip~ thanks to everyone who took the time to hang out with me, and sorry to those i didn't get to see much (or at all :\ ). i'll see you guys again during thanksgiving break! :D
