happy birthday melissa!


man these past few weeks have been quite busy. and now all of a sudden i have exams coming up within a week o_O who's ready for summer? speaking of which, i'm having trouble deciding whether i want to do the children's ministry internship at FBCC for the summer or keep my options open to help out with the youth more...still not completely sure which ministry is for me. i'm also considering transferring to the College of Biblical Studies and getting a degree for ministry there...so much to decide o_O throw up a prayer for me if ya could :)

we got cable back on friday! but the internet went down 3 hours after it was installed -_- what is that trash :P should be fixed by tomorrow. finally, no more dial-up. cable tv has allowed me to get back into sports again (thank you ESPN). rockets to the finals? mayhaps...i'd love to see us own shaq again :P

wow this past week has been quite tiresome. 2 important tests and a term paper to do, plus some homework for church?! i don't think my body's used to doing that much work anymore haha. i woke up at 2AM on monday and i was crying from a dream about my doggy. s'never happened to me before o_O weird. guess i was pretty stressed. still had a good week though!

sunday was the joint evening service with Bethel Ministries (a hispanic church) at FBCC. i wasn't gonna go at first cuz i had to start my psych paper...but the rest of my family was going and wanted me to join them. man am i glad i went! the youthful people i got to know that night were really friendly. and the worship...wow. worship is probably my favorite part of services now. we sang in english and spanish! never worshipped in another language before. quite interesting. i can't wait for the mexico mission trip!!

oh before we left for the service on sunday, my 4 year old nephew came into my room with some legos. he had a crooked-looking pole sticking up from a base, and he said "look tio, it's the cross that Jesus died on." :)

so, have you missed me? :D yeah my desktop is currently...out of commission. funny how i haven't really missed it though. if it weren't for our society's dependence on computers, i might actually consider getting rid of mine. that would free up a lot of time, no? i think i'll just end up fixing my laptop soon...

lots of work this week. a few tests, a paper due monday, and i even have homework for church :-o haha. my dependence on God has really been tested lately, too. amazing how easy it is for me to give into anger, nowadays. if you wouldn't mind, please throw up a prayer for my patience and endurance sometime :) thanks! stay cool people
