wow. God was moving in me, and i didn't even realize it. how amazing are His ways! thank you, God, for the people You have put in my life

well angela, you asked, and now i'm delivering. my birthday was really great! just like everyday that God has given to me. well first off, thanks to everyone who made me feel more special than i really am hehe. i don't wanna mention everyone specifically, but you people know who you are! and know that i truly appreciate having you as a friend and all that you do for me. thank you~

most of all though, thank you God! some victory reports:
-my family has been regularly attending the Encounter service at FBCC! God has really been answering our prayers about coming together as a family...the kind of family that God intends us to be. i can't wait for them to get more plugged into the church and build up godly relationships
-my nieces are loving going to sunday school and service! they spend the week counting down the days until sunday hehe. it's great to see that they're interested in God at such an early age
-being a part of dave and cindy wu's small group has been a great experience. the inter-generational concept was kinda scary at first, but i've really enjoyed it. there's such a family feel to it! i love being around so many different people at different points in their lives. we have everyone from college students to engaged couples to parents of babies (who, by the way, are ADORABLE *melts*). but more important than that is the goal of our SG. we're trying to learn how to walk by the Holy Spirit and get rid of distractions in life that hinder us from hearing what God is trying to say to us. that seems sooo relevant to me right now, and it's really helped me in my walk. God's definitely been calling me to serve in various ways, so i've really been getting into AWANA and SLG. i'm also fairly sure that i want to get into full-time ministry after graduation (as for what kind, i'm not sure yet). but one thing that dave pointed out to me was that all of us, as disciples of Jesus, are involved in full-time ministry already. God's also been calling me (and others in our SG) to reach out to others and boldly share my faith and the wonderful gift of a perfect love that God has given me. it's kinda tough, but i'm learning to die to myself little by little and live for God alone
-Easter! i'm pondering whether or not i should watch "The Passion" again...even the few minutes that we watched during the Good Friday service made me cringe. it's probably good for me though. the next time i get angry or proud, i'll try to remember the scars on Jesus' body that i put there. if you have the time, just stop and think how incredible it is that the almighty God of the universe would come to earth as a servant and bear a gruesome death that He did not deserve one bit. He could've stopped it at anytime, but He didn't because he loves us that much. amazing.

so my family's been coming to FBCC's encounter service with me lately! and my nieces love sunday school. yay! praise God :)

oh yeah, does anyone want to buy a really cheap acoustic guitar case? i accidently ordered one before i realized my guitar is classical -_- oops. maybe i'll keep it for when i get an acoustic

oh yeah, i got to hang out with angela on sunday! that girl always keeps me past my curfew :P even if it's just till 10:30 hehe. it was good to finally spend time talking to her again though.
